These are your earliest clues that something is wrong, and they point to what it is. For good health, you want to identify problems early. It is not a test of whether you can tough out the problem, but whether you can treat it before it reaches the point where no one can tough it out. Many of the symptoms you experience will be simple problems that are easily treated or you bodies’ normal defenses can take care of, fortunately. But it is those few that portend real trouble that have to be found early. And treating them early makes up for the extra trouble of looking into the more benign ones.
What types of symptoms are the most urgent? There are some important lists for major disease categories, on our Key Symptoms page. But if symptoms and signs interfere with your daily work and function, or would if they continue, an alarm bell should be ringing in your brain.
